Millions of children live in orphanages around the world and the limited funds to support them means even the most essentials of live are often rationed. Orphanage Directors do their best to care for the children and keep them as comfortable as possible, however, their funds are stretched too thin.

A leaky roof may mean that that the heat will need to be turned off for a month to save money. An outbreak of chicken pox may mean there is no extra money for fresh fruits and vegetables for the children. Children often share clothing and take turns going outside to play because of limited shoes and coats. They don't have toys or clothes to call their "own."

Through your donations, new beds, blankets, clothing, toys, and many other things can be purchased to help these children have more comfort in their life. Through past donations we have helped with electricty for orphanages, supplied food, replaced a roof, repaired a sewage system, and supplied many items the children need on a daily basis.

Yes, this orphanage was scheduled to be closed by the Department of Education due to a leaky roof! We donated $22,000 to replace the roof and keep the orphanage open!
