China is located
in Eastern Asia, bordering the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow
Sea, and South China Sea, between North Korea and Vietnam. The population
is aproximately 1.3 billion people and the capital is in Beijing.

There are mostly girls in need of adoption in China due to
the strict family limit size set by the Chinese government. The
children live in orphanages (Social Welfare Institutions) maintained
by the government. The care of the children varies greatly from
orphanage to orphanage and city to city. Children are usually
placed in different age categories within the homes, depending
on the size of the facility- but this is not always the case (in
regard to rigid segregation of kids). The ratio of caregivers
to babies is often 1 to 5. The amount of children in one room
varies dramatically depending on the facility. Some have 4 babies
per room and a bed for a caregiver, others have 15 cribs and beds
for 2-3 caregivers.

Once
your dossier is completed, it sent to our partners who will
assemble it into an attractive package and send it to the China
Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA) in Beijing where it will be
officially logged in and translated within the Adoption Center.
Your countdown for being matched with a child begins when your
dossier is logged into the CCAA.
After
your dossier is submitted to China, it is translated and put into
order of receipt along with hundreds of other dossiers from other
agencies. The backlog at the CCAA impacts the amount of time between
Dossier submittal and match. The process currently takes approximately
6-8 months.
When
your dossier comes up in the "matching room" file, you
will be matched with a child. We will send you a picture and medical
information of the child! This is the most exicting parts of our
adventure with you! You will then be asked to sign an official
confirmation letter that states your acceptance of the child.
You will travel approximately 6-8 weeks after you accept your
referral!!
You
will travel to China for approximately 10-12 days in country (15
days round trip). You will most likely travel with a group of
other families. This is a wonderful opportunity to make life long
friends as you each go through the miraculous journey of adopting
a child from China! You are taken care of by our guide in China
who is with you each step of the way!
We
will help you prepare your dossier yourself, or you can utilize
our Dossier Preparation service, "Paperwork Partners"
to do it all for you! We will help you file your INS paperwork,
and guide you through your entire process of adoption and travel
to China.

We will be happy to help you in any way and answer any questions
